FREE Celebration of Heritage.

We are delighted to invite you to join us as we launch our Heritage Hub on Wed, 7 Jun 2023 15:00 – 19:00 at The University of Leicester

This exciting new initiative celebrates the rich heritage of our University, our city, and our region.

To mark the occasion, we are hosting a FREE Heritage Hub event on our campus on Wednesday 7 June between 3-7pm. 

Under the theme of Active Heritage, we invite you, your family and friends to join us to discover more about the amazing arts, culture and heritage opportunities and benefits on our campus and across the region. 

Activities include puppet making, dancing, traditional arts and crafts, campus heritage trails and historical re-enactments, there is something for everyone. Representatives from many local heritage organisations and community groups will be on-hand to bring our heritage to life, and to offer careers advice for those looking to enter the heritage and cultural sectors, as well as signposting to volunteering opportunities. 

All are welcome. Oh, and keep an eye out for the dragon!
