Centre for Regional and Local History & Centre for Urban History Autumn 2024 Seminar Series
The Centre for Regional and Local History and Centre for Urban History have joined forces this year to present a joint seminar series, which will take place fortnightly alternating between Thursday and Friday afternoons. All talks will be in-person in Att 101 (CRLH library) or via a Teams link available upon request.

‘Unpacking the Dryad ‘Handicrafts’ collection : towards a global movement of ‘arts and crafts’ in Leicester’ – Maria Chiara Scuderi (Leicester). In addition to the talk on 5 December Maria has organised a visit to the Dryad exhibition at the Museum for anyone in attendance at the talk who would like to join. There’s no need to book or RSVP. Maria will lead everyone over to the museum (by foot), so for those interested they can just bear this in mind and plan their afternoon accordingly. The talk and Q&A will finish by 3:15, and the hands-on session will end approximately around 4:20. See Dryad Collection for more information.
