The December 2025 Journal should be with members very soon.

Do you have a family history story which could be published in a future Journal? We are always looking for stories with a Leicestershire/Rutland connection, so if you are interested in writing something (or have already written something) we’d love to hear from you. It might be an interesting genealogical discovery, an ancestor whose story you’d like to share, a local history story about a house/building/street…

Articles can be submitted by email to editor@lrfhs.org.uk, ideally in Word. Any images you might wish to include must be owned by you or you must provide copyright permission for us to use them.

Articles of around 500 words are ideal. If you’re not confident about writing, the Editor will always be happy to help you out!

There is no deadline as we produce four Journals a year.
