Leicestershire History – Issue 2

Issue 2 of the Leicester Archaeological and Historical Society magazine Leicestershire History will be published shortly, with members receiving the online version free with their membership. (The link to this will arrive with members by email).

The 11 articles which comprise this issue run the range from Anglo-Saxon Leicester to the Highfield Blitz, via fatal lion attacks, convict transportation, and much more. See the attached PDF for a full list of contents.

Issue 1 is still available to LAHS members, and can be accessed by clicking here. It is recommended that you save it as a ‘favourite’ in order to easily navigate back to it in future. For those members who would like to sign up to receive a hard copy, subscription details can be found on the website at Leicestershire History – LAHS.

The magazine is published twice yearly, in January and July. It sits alongside the Society’s existing publications, and aims to appeal to a broad audience of local history enthusiasts.
