Prehistoric Lives in the Trent Valley Exhibition – July 2026 to January 2027.

This is a fascinating FREE exhibition at the University of Nottingham Museum which brings the prehistoric story of the Trent Valley to life. It showcases the remarkable archaeological discoveries that are transforming our understanding of one of Britain’s most significant river landscapes.

Drawing on years of archaeological and paleo-environmental research, the exhibition is open from Friday 24 July 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027 and explores how prehistoric communities settled, lived and adapted within the ever-changing Trent Valley.
