The Palace History Day – October 2026.
On Saturday 3rd October 2026, 10.00AM to 2.00PM, at The Palace Community Centre, High Street, Ibstock, Leicestershire, LE67 6LG The Palace and Ibstock Historical Society will be hosting a special exhibition on the history of The Palace.
The exhibition will feature photographs, artefacts, memories and stories from more than 100 years of community life.
Ibstock Historical Society meet on an ad-hoc basis at the Baptist and Wesleyan Chapels in Ibstock at their Saturday coffee mornings plus the David Taylor Centre in Heather and Chapel in Ellistown.
The group is run entirely by volunteers and stores a wide variety of documents and pictures for Ibstock and the surrounding villages of Ellistown, Heather, Nailstone, Odstone and Swepstone.
